The story of two sisters and yiayia who taught them all

Situated in the heart of Yarraville, Eleni’s Kitchen + Bar is a stunning Authentic Greek Restaurant named after the family’s matriarch Eleni. Greek food is what we do best; our passion for high quality ingredients and seasonal produce is only surpassed by our desire to marry traditional methods with exceptional service to be able to deliver the best of Greek hospitality in Melbourne.

Eleni’s Kitchen + Bar, was born out of a conversation within our immediate family, reminiscing about the good old days when our family owned a whole host of businesses in Yarraville. Among them the first Greek restaurant, opposite the “Sun Theatre,” in what is now known as the “Yarra Lounge!” In those days the “Sun Theatre,” screened Greek films on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. We thought, why not bring back traditional Greek food, back to Yarraville, where it all started…

Eleni's Outdoor & Events

Reminiscent of Greek Tavernas, Eleni’s highly sought after outdoor area ‘Dimitri’s Garden’ is rain and windproof with heaters on hand for those fresh Melbourne nights. Dining here on a beautiful day is sure to transport you back to Greece. ⁣

On a sunny day enjoy ‘The Terrace’ right across from Eleni’s and Dimitri’s Garden.

Greek Band Aetos and plate smashing is a regular occurrence on the weekend.

A delicious collection of continental and Greek desserts and made-to-order celebration cakes are now available at Eleni’s.

All desserts are made by Eleni’s in-house pastry chefs using only the finest quality ingredients.
